Pictures – So many! This book has an amazing assortment of the author’s photographs and bits from his collection throughout. There are no color images besides the ones on the cover but Jayne shines. With the book being good size, the pictures are large. Please note that this book is printed on matte paper so the images don’t come across as nicely as they would be if they were printed on semi-gloss pages but that is a relatively small complaint bejng this book really does contain (IMO) the best photo collection of Jayne of any other book that I have on her. 9/10

Text: The book has some factual errors throughout but nothing malicious, just some date errors. Overall I find the Vegas chapter to be my favorite. 7/10

Overall thoughts: I think it’s safe to say that this book is pretty definitive for pictures and also has a decent biography. I wish the publisher would have chosen glossier pages to really showcase the pictures better but it’s still a must have for any Jayne fan. Because so much of the book is composed of pictures, it’s not a super long read. You can easily finish it in one sitting and will go away with a semi-decent understanding of Jayne. In future editions I would hope for a little more comprehensive of a biography with the fact errors corrected. Ferruccio also spends a portion of it defending himself which I feel would have been better in a blog being I’m not aware of his issues with people. That being said, I also realize it is his book and he can put what he wants in it.

Overall rating: 8/10
